Welcome! I'm Cody, and my life is filled with a diverse range of passions and roles that make every day an adventure.
As an avid cyclist, I can often be found pedaling through the picturesque landscapes on the bike trails of the Des Moines area. Most often, I’m commuting to Soteria Church. I’ve been a pastor at Soteria since 2002. Most recently, I transitioned into the role of executive pastor. I really enjoy caring for our people.
When I’m not at Soteria, I love taking adventures with our family. We’ve hiked through rugged terrains and camped under the stars at several amazing National Parks. The beauty and variety of God’s creation always amazes me.
Our family also loves to take in a baseball game and are trying to hit all 30 MLB Ballparks. We have 11 to go!
